Coir bales are small bales made from compressed loose fiber that comes from coconut husks. Coir is also known as coco, coco coir, cocopeat, coco peat, coir fiber, coconut husks, and coconut fiber. The fiber can be extracted from green or dry coco husks to produce white or brown fiber, respectively. The fiber is golden in color when cleaned after being removed from the coconut husk, which is why it’s called “the golden fiber”
